Specialty Insurance Group Increases Casualty Capacity to $25 Million

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 3, 2015) – Effective immediately, Specialty Insurance Group (SIG) has increased their excess/umbrella coverage underwriting capacity to $25 million, which is an increase of $15 million. SIG provides specialty insurance programs in the sports, leisure and entertainment industries while asserting thought leadership in the segments they service. 

SIG, an affiliate of Everest Re Group, Ltd., views the increase as an important step forward as it nears its two-year anniversary, particularly as the company continues to develop additional product and service capabilities designed specifically for the sports, leisure and entertainment industries. 

“Now SIG can place up to $25 million excess/umbrella coverage in-house, with our A+, XV rated affiliated Everest Re Group insurance carriers,” said Greg Mosher, Managing Director of SIG.  “It’s an opportunity for us to keep everything internal and provide real value for our clients.
